Stadtfest Immenstadt im Allgäu

Meeting Point Marienplatz

The Marienplatz is the heart of the Alpine city of Immenstadt. Once a year, the Stadtfest transforms the square with its stage, market stalls, and carousel into a major meeting point for the residents of Immenstadt and guests from the Oberallgäu region. The organizer is the Event Management of the City of Immenstadt, and the festival is supported by local clubs and sports groups, who manage their own activities and stands.

Music from Early Afternoon to Night

The program focuses on live music from the very beginning. During the day, the Stadtkapelle Immenstadt, local dance groups, and the party band BockStark perform. In the evening, DJ Charly takes over the stage – the festival runs until 1:00 AM.

Children's and Family Program

The family program plays a central role at the Stadtfest:

• Laser shooting
• Duck race
• Box climbing

The mascot Biene Immi distributes small treats to the children. The concept is specifically tailored to families – free admission, and most activities are free of charge.

Immenstadt, the "Seven Mountains City" in the Oberallgäu

Immenstadt is located in the Oberallgäu district in the Swabia region of the state of Bavaria, on the Großer Alpsee lake, with views of the Allgäu foothills. The city is known as the "Sieben-Berge-Stadt" (Seven Mountains City) due to the seven mountains surrounding it. The Stadtfest is the most important inner-city event in the annual calendar of events, alongside the Alpsee Summer and winter sports highlights.
