City Festival in the Steigerwald
The Stadtfest Gerolzhofen is the major city center festival of the small Lower Franconian town on the edge of the Steigerwald. Gerolzhofen is located in the Schweinfurt district, in the administrative region of Lower Franconia (state of Bavaria), and forms the center of the Steigerwald wine panorama. For several days, the historic old town becomes a festival mile.
Food Mile and Music Mile
The festival is divided into a food mile offering international and Franconian specialties, and a music mile with live acts at various locations in the city center. In the Spitalgarten, a cozy beer garden with live music invites visitors to linger.
GEO Classics – Vintage Cars in the Old Town
The highlight of the city festival is the GEO Classics vintage car exhibition. Gleaming historic automobiles and motorcycles are presented in the market square and throughout the winding old town. Only historic vehicles are permitted. The exhibition attracts vintage car enthusiasts and onlookers from far and wide.

Organized by the town of Gerolzhofen in cooperation with Partymedia and the Motosportvereinigung 98 Gerolzhofen e.V., the city festival is a social highlight for Gerolzhofen and the surrounding Steigerwald communities.

The 2026 edition of the Stadtfest Gerolzhofen runs from Friday, August 21st, to Sunday, August 23rd, 2026, in the historic city center. A food mile, music mile, and a beer garden with live music in the Spitalgarten characterize the festival weekend.
The highlight is the GEO Classics vintage car exhibition on Sunday, August 23rd, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Gleaming historic automobiles and motorcycles will be displayed in the market square and throughout the city center; only historic vehicles are permitted. Participation is possible without prior registration, with organizational pre-registration open until August 2nd, 2026. The organizers are the town of Gerolzhofen, Partymedia, and the Motosportvereinigung 98 Gerolzhofen e.V.

Getting There
Gerolzhofen is located in the Schweinfurt district, accessible via the B286 from the direction of Schweinfurt and Würzburg. The festival takes place centrally in the city center around the market square.

Vintage Car Registration
Participation with a vintage car is possible without prior registration; vehicles without registration will receive information sheets at entrances A and B.
