The Hammelburg St. Michael's Market is one of the largest markets in the Bad Kissingen district and the Franconia Saalestück region. Hammelburg is considered the oldest wine town in Franconia – viticulture was first documented here as early as 777 AD. The market, held around the St. Michael's festival, transforms the market square and old town into a lively shopping and gourmet mile.
Around 80 Stalls
On both days, around 80 stalls will feature direct marketers, wineries, specialist retailers, craftspeople, and a children's program. A flea market complements the offerings. The market is a meeting point for the entire region, offering a wide range of products from arts and crafts to Franconian delicacies.
