Two Festival Days at the Kirchparkplatz

The Kirchparkplatz in the centre of Bad Lauterberg is the main venue for the Frühlingshappening. The square, located directly next to the historic town church, offers ample space for a stage, stalls, play areas, and gastronomic stands. On both festival days — Saturday and Sunday — the programme is open from 11 am to 7 pm.

Sunday Shopping on the Boulevard

The highlight of Sunday is the Sunday shopping, when the shops on the Bad Lauterberg Boulevard open their doors. Thus, the Frühlingshappening combines a family festival and spring shopping into a harmonious overall experience. The association Bad Lauterberg e.V. for Trade and Commerce, which organises the festival, uses the date to stage the kick-off for the spring season in retail.

Live Music with Blasorchester Sieber

The festival is accompanied by various musical acts. The highlight is the performance by the Blasorchester Sieber on Sunday, May 3rd. The traditional brass band from the neighbouring town of Sieber brings energy to the stage with its repertoire of brass music, Schlager, and entertaining classics, creating the right spring atmosphere.

Open-Air Church Service and Family Activities

On Sunday morning, an open-air church service is held on the Kirchparkplatz — a beautiful combination of festival culture and community life. For children, there are bouncy castles, craft stations, face painting, and a diverse range of hands-on activities. Barbecue stands, crêpe stalls, ice cream vendors, and drinks are available for culinary catering.
