Tattoo Convention in a Special Setting

The Spiekeroog Tattoo Weekend is a true premiere in April 2026. The 1st edition will take place from April 10th to 12th, 2026 on the car-free North Sea island. Unlike classic tattoo conventions in large city halls, this format is deliberately small and atmospheric – the restaurant "Linde 1865" serves as the main location, where around 12 tattoo artists will work for three days.

12 Artists – Variety of Styles

With approximately 12 tattoo artists from different studios and with various styles, a wide range of offerings can be expected. Tattoo styles typically represented at a small convention:

• Traditional / Old School: bold lines, classic motifs
• Realism: detailed portraits and nature motifs
• Geometric / Minimalism: simple geometric designs
• Black & Grey: monochrome shading techniques
• Watercolor: watercolor-like designs
• Lettering: fonts and words
• Custom Designs: individual commissioned works

Restaurant "Linde 1865" as the Main Location

The restaurant "Linde 1865" is an established address on Spiekeroog. The premises will be transformed into a temporary tattoo studio for the weekend. The atmosphere of a historic island inn provides an unusual setting for the tattoo experience – a cozy inn atmosphere with a maritime touch instead of a convention hall.

Spiekeroog – The Right Stage

Spiekeroog is car-free, quiet, and contemplative. In April – before the main season – there is a special silence on the island. Those who travel to Spiekeroog for a tattoo combine the tattoo experience with a weekend trip to the island world. Walks on the beach, coffee in the island village, sea air – and in between, hours in the tattoo chair. A combination that makes the tattoo a souvenir with a story.

Appointment Booking

With tattoo conventions with limited artist and time capacity, prior appointment booking is usually required. Those who want to participate in 2026 should register early on the organizer's website or with the participating studios. Walk-ins are generally possible for smaller designs but must be agreed upon individually with the artists.

Getting to Spiekeroog

Spiekeroog is accessible by ferry from Neuharlingersiel. The tide must be observed for the crossing. Overnight stays on the island are possible in guesthouses, hotels, and holiday apartments – availability is good in April.
