About Spalter Brauereifest

The Spalter Brauereifest is the grand beer and brewery festival of the Spalt Brewery in the Franconian hop-growing region. For three days, the world's oldest community brewery celebrates with friends, fans, and connoisseurs in the historic brewery buildings – in the Fasswichs, the Vollguthalle, and the brewery courtyard. With free admission, guests can expect a beer tapping ceremony by the Spalt Beer Queen, brass music, rock bands, and DJ parties, Franconian delicacies, and a Weißwurst breakfast with the Bavarian Weißwurst Queen. The highlight on Sunday is the crowning of the new Spalt Beer Queen. For the first time, a shuttle service from Georgensgmünd train station will also be offered – a true Franconian beer festival in the heart of the hop town of Spalt.

The 2026 edition of the Spalter Brauereifest runs from April 17 to 19, spanning three days in the historic buildings of the Spalt Brewery – Fasswichs, Vollguthalle, and the brewery courtyard.

Getting There

Spalt is located in the district of Roth in Middle Franconia. For the first time, there is a free shuttle service from Georgensgmünd train station. Travel by car via the A6 (Roth exit).
