KLJB Peheim and their Sommernachtsfest
KLJB Peheim (Katholische Landjugendbewegung - Catholic Rural Youth Movement) is one of the most active youth groups in the southern Cloppenburg district. The annual Sommernachtsfest is KLJB's largest self-organized event and its most important source of funding for youth work. Over the years, the festival has become a firm fixture in the regional event scene — with around 2,500 visitors per edition, it is one of the largest open-air parties in rural Cloppenburg.
Open-Air Party Format
Unlike the classic Schützenfeste or Volksfeste of the region, the Sommernachtsfest presents itself as an open-air summer party focusing on a young audience.
