Summer Open-Air Series at the Festhalle

The Sommerlounge is an established event series from previous years, transforming the Festhalle Zweibrücken into an open-air dance floor during the warm months. Fourteen dates between May 30 and August 27, 2026, offer party-goers regular opportunities to dance in a relaxed atmosphere, meet friends, and wind down the summer evening with summery cocktails. The series opens with the Ibiza House Pre-Opening on Saturday, May 30, 2026, which sets the tone for the upcoming season with electronic sounds and a summery lounge atmosphere.

Highlights of the 2026 Season

The second event on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, is dedicated to the VIP Allstars and their Summer Session, which combines classics and new hits into a single mix. In the following weeks, various DJs will shape the musical profile of the series: Carnage, Moh, Hamid, Fahrettin, and Foggy will ensure varied evenings with their individual styles. The musical spectrum ranges from House and Electro to Latin and Reggaeton, as well as international pop hits and charts. Each evening has its own profile, allowing regular guests to have new experiences.

Dates and Rhythm

The Sommerlounge usually takes place on Fridays or Wednesdays at the Festhalle. A total of fourteen dates make up the 2026 program, spanning almost three months. The series begins on May 30, continues with dates on June 3, 11, 18, and 25, runs through the summer months of July (July 2, 9, 16, 23, 30) and concludes in August with events on August 6, 13, 20, and 27, 2026. This means the Sommerlounge offers, on average, more than one event per week and is considered a central meeting point for the young party scene in the West Palatinate region.

Organized by the Cultural Office

The series is organized by the Cultural and Tourism Office of the City of Zweibrücken in collaboration with event agencies and local restaurateurs. Admission varies depending on the event; some dates are free, while others are ticketed through the Ticket-Regional system. A bar with cocktails, beer, and non-alcoholic drinks is available on-site, occasionally supplemented by food trucks offering hot meals.
