Getting There

Öhringen is located in the Hohenlohe district, easily accessible via the A 6 (Öhringen exit) and the B 19. By train via Öhringen station (Hohenlohebahn), from there a 10-minute walk to the Hofgarten. Parking is available in the city center and at the Hofgarten.

Admission and Start Times

Admission: 6:30 PM. Start: 7:30 PM. On each event evening, you have the option to bring your own seating. The playground in the Hofgarten is accessible during the festival period.

Ten Years of Sommerfestival im Hofgarten

From July 16 to August 1, 2026, the Sommerfestival im Hofgarten Öhringen celebrates its 10th anniversary — a success story that began in 2016 and has become one of the most important open-air dates in the Hohenlohe district. Three festival weekends, more than 15 concerts and comedy evenings on the Allmand in the Hofgarten — the program brings together music, comedy, and cabaret under the baroque sky of the Öhringen palace and garden complex.

Highlight Program 2026

The 10th anniversary edition attracts with an ambitious lineup: The Hohâloher Helden (Thursday format with regional artists) open the program, followed by Good News with their 40-year anniversary concert. AB/CD, as an AC/DC tribute, bring rock classics to the stage, Edelle dedicates her show in "A Night About Adele" to the British soul icon. The Schlager party with Wirtschaftswunder rounds off the main program. In addition, there are Open Doors with a band, comedy evenings, and a free concert evening by the Öhringer Stadtkapelle.

Hofgarten Öhringen — Baroque Setting for Open-Air Concerts

The Öhringer Hofgarten is an 18th-century baroque park — laid out between Öhringen Castle and the Allmand. The Allmand, the open event area within the park, offers space for several thousand visitors. The stage, grandstand area, and standing room are arranged so that the historic backdrop with trees and a view of the castle is always present — one of the most spectacular open-air locations in Northern Württemberg.

Organizer KULTURa Öhringen

The Sommerfestival is organized by KULTURa — the municipal cultural management unit of the city of Öhringen. KULTURa programs the festival together with local associations, concert agencies, and sponsors. Admission always at 6:30 PM, concert start at 7:30 PM. In case of bad weather, the program usually moves to Kultura Öhringen or is postponed at short notice — details will be communicated daily via kultura-oehringen.de.
