Water Sports Festival in the Uckermark

The Summer Festival with Fun Regatta at the PCK Schwedt Water Sports Centre is one of the most popular family festivals in the Uckermark district. The event is organised by Wassersport PCK Schwedt e.V., one of Brandenburg's largest water sports clubs. The spacious club grounds on Regattastraße are located directly on the Oder – one of Central Europe's most natural and original river landscapes, shaped by the neighbouring Lower Oder Valley National Park.

The Fun Regatta

The Fun Regatta is the centrepiece of the festival: Teams from business, politics, culture, and sports compete in canoes to complete a specially designed course. The focus is less on speed and more on creativity, costumes, and skill – the boats have to complete tasks such as hitting targets or popping balloons. Special stars: The VIP race with representatives from the Uckermärkische Bühnen Schwedt.

Schwedt and the Uckermark

The town of Schwedt/Oder is located in the far northeast of Brandenburg, on the Polish border. With around 30,000 inhabitants, it is the largest town in the Uckermark district. The nearby Lower Oder Valley National Park is home to rare bird species and a popular destination for nature lovers. The summer festival combines this natural scenery with active water sports experiences directly on the riverbank.
