By car via the A6 exit Sulzbach-Rosenberg, then towards Birgland/Fürnried. By train to Sulzbach-Rosenberg, from there regional connection or taxi.

Sports Club as Festival Organizer

SK Fürnried 1978 e.V. is the central sports club of the municipality of Birgland, whose main town is Fürnried (district of Amberg-Sulzbach, Upper Palatinate, Bavaria). Hiking and Meadow Run

Thursday is hiking day – the 26th time in 2026. In recent editions, over 160 hikers participated in the route through the Birgland (Silberberg–Dollmannsberg–Nonnhof–Reichenunholden–Frechetsfeld–Fürnried). In parallel, the children's meadow run takes place, with over 300 children regularly participating. Trophies for the best hiking groups, catering at the festival site upon return.
