Four Days of Wine Enjoyment in the District Capital
The Siegburg Wine Festival is one of the most famous wine festivals in the Rhineland and the Bonn region. From June 4 to 7, 2026, the Siegburg city center will be transformed into a four-day stage for wine enjoyment with over 50 wineries from Germany and Europe. Siegburg Tourism Promotion organizes the festival anew each year, ensuring a proven mix of wine, gastronomy, and music.
Over 50 Wineries — The Diversity of Growing Regions
The wineries come from the most important German growing regions — Rheinhessen, Pfalz, Mosel, Ahr, Mittelrhein, Baden, Württemberg, Franken — as well as from European neighbors (Austria, Italy, France). Represented are:
- Classic Wineries with Riesling, Spätburgunder, Silvaner
- Organic Winemakers with natural wine and orange wine trends
- Specialists for sparkling wine, crémant, and dessert wines
- International Representatives with red wine specialties
Wines are served at the stands — usually with the concept of a "wine glass deposit": glass in exchange for a deposit, free switching between stands.
Siegburg Gastronomy as a Partner
The wine selection is complemented by Siegburg restaurateurs and retailers, who are represented with their own stands:
- Cheese platters from the region and from France
- Flammkuchen in several variations
- Antipasti and Mediterranean specialties
- Desserts from Siegburg patisseries
- Street food with regional connections
Live bands and DJ sets provide a relaxed atmosphere on a stage — typical genres include Jazz, Bossa Nova, acoustic sets, and local Rhineland music.
Siegburg — Historic District Capital on the Sieg
Siegburg (around 41,000 inhabitants) is the district capital of the Rhein-Sieg district and lies just 20 km east of Bonn on the river Sieg. The town was founded in the 11th century by Archbishop Anno II and is home to the still active Abbey of Michaelsberg. The historic city center with its market square, Holzgasse, and Servatius Church forms the perfect backdrop for the wine festival. Via the S-Bahn connection (S12, S19), Siegburg is reachable in 20 minutes from Cologne and 15 minutes from Bonn.
