Seven Concerts, Seven Locations

The festival concept is programmatic: seven concerts in seven different locations within the town of Bernau bei Berlin and its surroundings in the Barnim district. Each venue has its own character, and the lineup is carefully curated for the respective space. The organizer is the association Kulturreich Barnim e.V., supported by the Brandenburg Ministry for Science, Research and Culture, the Barnim district, and the town of Bernau.

The 2026 Program

Seven dates between late winter and early summer 2026 — and a high-caliber lineup that combines Soul, Folk, Indie, Singer-Songwriter, and theatrical cabaret:

• March 27 — Dominique Fils-Aimé, Ofenhaus Bernau (Canadian Soul-Jazz artist)
• April 10 — Meret Becker & Dietmar Loeffler — “Nachtblau”, Stadthalle Bernau (Homage to Barbara)
• April 12 — Ulrich Tukur and the Rhythmus Boys — “Tohuwabohu!”, Audimax Bernau
• May 3 — Club der toten Dichter, Kulturspeicher Börnicke
• May 9 — Söhne Mannheims Piano, Evangelische Stadtkirche Biesenthal
• May 30 — MINE live with Wallis Bird, Waldbühne Bernau
• June 6 — Fjarill — “Walden”, Rooftop Terrace New Town Hall Bernau

Venues with Character

The event locations are among the most fascinating spaces in the Barnim region:

• The Ofenhaus Bernau is a former industrial building and today a concert venue with a loft atmosphere.
• The Stadthalle Bernau offers a classic concert hall setting.
• The Audimax at the University for Sustainable Development combines lecture hall acoustics with modern architecture.
• The Kulturspeicher Börnicke in the village of the same name is an old storage facility.
• The Stadtkirche Biesenthal brings sacred acoustics into play.
• The Waldbühne Bernau is the open-air option with a summer vibe.
• The Rooftop Terrace of the New Town Hall provides an intimate finale with a view over the city.

Tickets and Travel

Tickets are available via public-tickets-shop.de. You can purchase single tickets or a festival pass for all seven concerts. Bernau bei Berlin is accessible by S-Bahn line S2 from Berlin-Mitte in 35–40 minutes.
