Classic Schützenfest Structure (according to club tradition)
The exact program for 2026 will be published by the organizer in spring. The structure follows the proven cornerstones of previous years:
- Friday evening: Opening of the Schützenfest at the Schützenhaus, beer tapping, dance evening with DJ
- Saturday: King's shooting / Bird shooting, family afternoon with children's King's shooting, animation, games; in the evening, King's dinner for the dignitaries, dance evening with live band
- Sunday: Festival service, followed by a grand festival parade through Steyerberg with friendly clubs and a marching band, morning pint, lunch in the festival tent, proclamation of the new Schützenkönig (King) and dignitaries, cozy closing

Kyffhäuser Kameradschaft Steyerberg
The Kyffhäuser Kameradschaft Steyerberg e.V. is a traditional marksmen's association in the southern district of Nienburg/Weser. The name refers to the Kyffhäuser-Bund, an umbrella organization of veterans' and reservists' associations founded in 1900, which today cultivates traditions of marksmen and customs in addition to reservist affairs. This specific affiliation distinguishes the Steyerberg association from typical marksmen's clubs and gives the festival a special touch.
Schützenhaus Steyerberg on Sportallee
The venue is the Schützenhaus Steyerberg in Sportallee — its own club grounds with shooting ranges, club house, festival hall, and outdoor areas. Sportallee is Steyerberg's sports center with several club facilities and offers the necessary infrastructure for a large Schützenfest.

Steyerberg is the main municipality and administrative seat of the Samtgemeinde of the same name in the southern district of Nienburg/Weser.
