St. Andreas Brotherhood Norf since 1900

The St. Andreas Schützenbruderschaft Norf e.V. was founded in 1900 and celebrates its annual marksmen's and homeland festival in the Neuss district of Norf. With numerous corps (Grenadiers, Hunters, Hubertus Corps, Artillery Corps, Riders Corps, Guild Corps, Tell Shooters), it is one of the most diverse brotherhoods in the Rhein-Kreis Neuss district.

Date 2026: September 18–21

The 2026 edition runs from Friday, September 18 to Monday, September 21, 2026. Four days of festivities with a marksmen's program, festival tent, and funfair.

Active Corps

The Norf brotherhood consists of several corps:

• Grenadier Corps – traditional marksmen's unit
• Jägercorps – with king bird shooting
• Hubertuscorps – Patron Saint Hubertus
• Artillerie-Corps – Tell Shooters
• Reiter-Korps – with ring jousting
• Gildecorps – festival assembly

Festival Schedule 2026

The festival schedule follows the standard Lower Rhine tradition:

• Friday 18.9.: Festival opening, first festival tent program
• Saturday 19.9.: Marksmen's parades, King's evening
• Sunday 20.9.: Festival service, grand procession, coronation ball
• Monday 21.9.: Family day, closing evening

Year-round Club Life

The Norf brotherhood is not only active once a year at the Schützenfest. Corps shooting events take place throughout the year: Grenadier Corps shooting (May), Tell Shooters camp (June), Guild Corps shooting, Jägercorps king bird shooting, Hubertuscorps shooting, Artillery Corps victory shooting, Reiter Corps ring jousting. A very active brotherhood.

Norf – District in Southern Rhein-Kreis Neuss

Norf is a district in the south of Neuss, on the border with Rosellen and Holzheim. With just under 7,000 inhabitants, it is a medium-sized suburb, characterized by residential buildings and some commercial areas. The Schützenfest is the most important annual event that brings the entire Norf community together.
