Marksmen's Tradition in the Schaumburg Region

The Luhden Marksmen's Association (Schützenverein Luhden e.V.) is one of the reliable custodians of this custom. Festival Program

The Luhden Marksmen's Festival follows the classic North German festival sequence. Friday evening marks the start with a club evening and welcome; according to the Rinteln Citizens' Marksmen's Association, the official program begins at 6 p.m. Saturday focuses on the bird shooting to determine the new monarch. Sunday is characterized by the grand parade, the King's dinner, and the King's Ball. Families will find a program for the youngest visitors, and the festival tent offers refreshments for members and guests.
