From 30 May to 1 June 2026, the Schützengilde Herzebrock e.V. celebrates its traditional Schützenfest (marksmen's festival) in the Herzebrock district of the Herzebrock-Clarholz municipality. The last weekend of May marks the first day of the festival; a pre-programme running for several weeks in May includes the Children's Schützenfest (9 May), the Junior Marksmen's May Cup, the Ladies' Company Kimme-Korn Cup, and several outings. Schützenheim Schützengilde Herzebrock, Jahnstraße 2a, 33442 Herzebrock-Clarholz. By car: A2 exit Rheda-Wiedenbrück or Gütersloh, then follow signs for Herzebrock.

Schützengilde Herzebrock — Club Life in the Southern Münsterland

The Schützengilde Herzebrock e.V. is one of the active marksmen's associations in the Gütersloh district. As in many places in Westphalia, the Schützenwesen (marksmen's tradition) is deeply rooted — the ladies' company, junior marksmen, and marksmen's companies structure club life. The club house is located at Jahnstraße 2a in the Herzebrock district.

Herzebrock in the Gütersloh District

Herzebrock-Clarholz is a municipality in the Gütersloh district (southern Münsterland) with about 16,500 inhabitants, consisting of the two namesake districts Herzebrock and Clarholz. Both districts have their own marksmen's associations and their own festival calendars. The Schützenfest tradition is one of the firm pillars of community life — and the weekend before Pentecost is regularly the date for the big Herzebrock main festival.
