The Schützenfest Barßelermoor is one of the first Schützenfeste of the season in the northern district of Cloppenburg. The organizer is the Kleinkaliber-Schützenverein Barßelermoor (KKS), which represents the Barßelermoor district in the municipality of Barßel. The municipality of Barßel has several shooting clubs that hold their festivals throughout spring and summer – the festival in Barßelermoor marks the start in May.
