Schloss Malberg Open Air – Hillstreet-Band

The open-air concert with the Hillstreet-Band is another pillar of the concert activities at Schloss Malberg in 2026. With the date of August 15 – the feast of the Assumption and right in the middle of high summer – the concert falls into a period when the Eifel region attracts a particularly large number of visitors and holidaymakers.

Hillstreet-Band – Handmade Rock and Pop

The Hillstreet-Band has made a name for itself in the Eifel and Trier region. Their program includes:

• Rock Classics: From several decades, from classic Rock 'n' Roll to modern Rock.
• Pop Songs: Current hits and pop standards in their own arrangements.
• Soul Pieces: Classics of the Soul genre with soulful interpretations.

With a soulful band lineup – guitar, bass, drums, keyboards, and vocals – the Hillstreet-Band creates a compact band sound that truly shines live.

Castle Courtyard as an Open-Air Stage

The Malberg Castle courtyard is one of the most beautiful open-air stages in the Vulkaneifel. The historic architecture of the baroque castle from the 18th century, the courtyard enclosed by stone walls, the specific acoustics – all of this creates a concert atmosphere that cannot be replicated in a classic concert hall.

Free Admission, Donations Welcome

Unlike paid concerts, admission to this open-air event is free. However, the organizers ask for donations, which will go towards the preservation and cultural use of Schloss Malberg. This concept allows a broader audience to attend the concert and simultaneously makes the event a fundraising campaign for the cultural site.
