Cycling on historic asphalt
The Schleizer Dreieck is Germany's oldest natural race track – motorcycle and car races have been held here since 1923. Once a year, however, the track transforms into a cycling arena: the Schleizer Dreieck Jedermann-Radrennen opens the historic course to amateur and licensed riders.
Two days, three distances
The race weekend begins on Saturday with a cycling tour (RTF) of 70 to 100 km – not a competition, but a guided ride through the Vogtland region. Sunday gets serious: staggered amateur races over 35 km, 70 km, and 112 km on the closed race track. Start and finish are in Oberböhmsdorf, a district of Schleiz.
Anniversary Edition 2026
In 2026, the Schleizer Dreieck Jedermann celebrates its 15th edition – an anniversary that will be marked with an expanded supporting program and special events. An official training session under the guidance of Vera Hohlfeld will take place on June 6, 2026.
Schleiz – Saale-Orla-Kreis
Schleiz is located in the south of Thuringia, in the Saale-Orla-Kreis district, on the border with Saxony and Bavaria. Besides the city park and the Bergkirche (mountain church), the Schleizer Dreieck is one of the region's most famous sights.
