TSV Reiffenhausen is one of the central clubs in the village and has been driving an event for over two decades with the folk triathlon, which is known far beyond the village borders. The Schleierbach — a small stream after which the event is named — shapes the landscape around Reiffenhausen.

With its 23rd edition in 2026, the Schleierbach Folk Triathlon looks back on a remarkable history.
