Profile
Rudelsingen is a nationwide sing-along format invented by David Rauterberg in the 2010s: hundreds of people gather, a singer leads, and songs are sung together – from songbook classics to pop hits. What began as an indoor format in bars and halls will premiere outdoors in the courtyard of Schwerin Castle in 2026.
Concept
David Rauterberg will personally host the evening, accompanied by two musicians (guitar, keyboard). The audience will sing together for over two hours – lyrics will be projected onto screens. It's not about vocal quality or skill, but about the communal effect of singing in a group. The format is all-inclusive and accessible.
Venue
Schwerin Castle courtyard is an extraordinary setting: the courtyard of the residential ensemble, registered as a UNESCO World Heritage site since 2024, framed by the castle's Neo-Gothic and Neo-Renaissance facades. The organizer is Kulturbotschafter Events, which is programming a whole series of open-air concerts in the courtyard in the summer of 2026.
