The ROXSA Festival is a three-day city festival in the old town of Bad Sülze. It is supported by the Freundeskreis Popkultur e.V. — a volunteer organization with around 60 helpers. In cooperation with the Evangelical Lutheran parish and with support from the state, foundations, and sponsors like NDR as a media partner, ROXSA has become the cultural highlight of the Sülze summer.

The festival takes over the old town, the spa park, and the Salt Museum with over a hundred local and international artists. The focus is on Rock, Pop, Folk, Blues, and Soul; the stage program is complemented by theater, workshops, performances, and gastronomy. The motto 'Music. Magic. Togetherness.' describes its ambition: a festival for all senses that involves the entire town.
Local Context
Bad Sülze is a historic salt spa in the Vorpommern-Rügen district. With the ROXSA Festival, the monthly Wunder-Bar concerts, and the activities of the Freundeskreis Popkultur e.V., an unusually vibrant pop culture scene has developed in the small town. ROXSA consciously positions itself as 'A Small Town with Big Stars' and is considered one of the most prominent city festivals in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
ROXSA — edition 2026
From Friday evening, July 10th, to Sunday afternoon, July 12th, 2026, the ROXSA Festival in Bad Sülze will celebrate its 11th edition. The festival is designed as a city festival: several stages in the old town, at the spa park, and on the grounds of the Salt Museum will be active simultaneously. More than a hundred local and international artists will present Rock, Pop, Folk, Blues, and Soul; the music program will be complemented by theater performances, workshops, performative formats, and a dedicated gastronomy concept. The event is supported by the Freundeskreis Popkultur e.V. with around 60 volunteers in cooperation with the Evangelical Lutheran parish.

Three Festival Days in Bad Sülze
- Friday, July 10th, 2026 — Opening, stage program in the old town and spa park, opening concert
- Saturday, July 11th, 2026 — Main festival day with parallel stages, workshops, and performances
- Sunday, July 12th, 2026 — Closing program with a matinee at the Salt Museum, Sunday concert
Over a hundred acts from Rock, Pop, Folk, Blues, and Soul are planned on multiple stages, along with theater, workshops, and performances in the Salt Museum and spa park. The complete lineup will be announced gradually on the festival website roxsa.de.
