Franconian wine festival atmosphere in the medieval old town
Rothenburg ob der Tauber is considered the epitome of a medieval German town – with its complete city wall, the half-timbered houses at Plönlein, and the famous Burggasse. The Rothenburg Wine Village takes place against this backdrop – a summer wine festival that takes over the city center in August.
Bavaria, administrative region Middle Franconia, district Ansbach. Rothenburg ob der Tauber is one of the most visited cities in Germany for international tourism – the Romantic Road leads directly through it. The Wine Village uses the backdrop and extends the stay of day visitors into the evening.
