Festival with a Mission — Music Against the Silence on Mental Health

The Rocken Hilft Festival is more than just a regular festival: it's a charity event for the association helfen bewegt e.V., which campaigns for awareness and support for mental health conditions. In the loud world of Metalcore, Postcore, and Alternative Rock — genres that often deal with very intense themes like depression, anxiety, and feelings of powerlessness — this mission gains a special authenticity.

2026 Line-up — Alleviate, Rising Insane, The Narrator

The 2026 line-up brings together established and emerging bands from the German-speaking and international Metalcore and Postcore scene. Alleviate, Rising Insane, and The Narrator are the headliners confirmed so far — further acts will be announced on the festival website. The musical program alternates between aggressive, cathartic songs and quieter moments that allow space for reflection.

Weststadthalle Essen — Compact Indoor Stage

The Weststadthalle Essen is one of the established mid-sized concert venues in the western Ruhr area — easily accessible, with good acoustics and a compact atmosphere. It is located in the Essen district of Holsterhausen, just a few minutes by tram from the main train station.
