Major Metal and Rock Festival in Sulingen with 49 Confirmed Bands Including Judas Priest, In Flames, and Arch Enemy
The Reload Festival is one of Northern Germany's most important metal festivals and has long been an international gathering point for fans of heavier sounds. The atmosphere on the festival grounds in Sulingen combines maximum stage show with a familiar crew vibe — a hallmark that artists and fans alike appreciate.
The 2026 headliner lineup brings three heavyweights to Sulingen: Judas Priest, the British heavy metal pioneers; In Flames, the melodic death metal giants from Sweden; and Arch Enemy with their charismatic frontwoman Alissa White-Gluz. The program thus covers the most important currents of modern metal.
The lineup includes a total of 49 confirmed bands. Zakk Wylde's Black Label Society, Scottish pirate metallers Alestorm, the Swedish theatrical metal spectacle Avatar, US metalcore from Lamb of God, commercial hard rock from Godsmack, Australian AC/DC-style Airbourne, Brazilian groove metal from Soulfly, Canadian pioneers Kittie — and with Vengaboys, a deliberately quirky Eurodance act for the late-night party.
A new feature for 2026: The main stage will open on Thursday for the first time. This effectively extends the festival to four days and provides more space for an expanded program.
The Reload crew is considered one of the best festival organizations in Germany; the Sulingen grounds offer maximum festival atmosphere in a controlled space. Camping is included in the festival ticket, and the shuttle connection to Sulingen station makes travel easier.
The final day and stage schedule will be published by the organizer in good time at reload-festival.de.
