Anniversary tournament for the centenary of the oldest riding club in the Schaumburg district
The Rural Riding and Driving Club Lindhorst and surrounding area was founded in 1926, making it the oldest riding club in the Schaumburg district. Over the past 100 years, the club has fostered numerous generations of equestrian athletes, built its own riding facilities, trained show jumping and dressage horses, and established itself as a firm fixture in Lower Saxony's tournament scene. The 2026 anniversary tournament is an occasion to celebrate the club's past, present, and future together.
The autumn riding tournament runs from Friday to Sunday. The program includes show jumping competitions of various classes, dressage competitions, and rider games. Athletes from Lower Saxony, Hesse, and North Rhine-Westphalia will compete against each other. The competition classes range from beginner and youth classes to advanced classes with point scales.
The RFV Lindhorst riding facility features a spacious show jumping arena, a dressage arena, an indoor riding hall, and warm-up areas. Grandstands and spectator areas will be expanded for the tournament. A festival tent with catering, a market area for equestrian equipment suppliers, and stalls for regional horse businesses will be set up on the club grounds.
In addition to the sports program, special highlights are planned for the 100th anniversary celebration: a reception for distinguished guests, honors for long-standing members, a celebratory speech, the club chronicle, and a festive evening with a live band and dancing. The club invites friendly clubs, member families, and citizens of the Lindhorst municipality to celebrate together.
The RFV Lindhorst facility offers a show jumping arena, a dressage arena, and an indoor riding hall – ideal conditions for a three-day tournament with competition classes at various levels.
In addition to the sports program, a celebration evening will be held for the 100th anniversary. A celebratory speech, honors, the club chronicle, and dancing with a live band will mark the highlight of the anniversary festivities.
The exact competition program will be published by RFV Lindhorst on its website. The structure follows the established cornerstones of a three-day autumn riding tournament, supplemented by highlights for the club's 100th anniversary:
