Regentalfest — edition 2026
From May 22 to 25, 2026, Ramspau will celebrate its Regentalfest at Pentecost 'Am Wehr'. Friday, May 22: Parade of local clubs from the castle garden at 6:30 PM, beer tapping and welcome by Mayor Josef Schindler at 7:30 PM, accompanied by Alpine music from Buamteifl from Styria. Saturday, May 23: Festival opens at 6:00 PM, Die Südsteirer from 7:30 PM. Sunday, May 24: Remembrance ceremony at the cemetery (9:45 AM), church service in St. Laurentius (10:00 AM), morning pint with Grenzland Trio and coffee buffet until 4:00 PM, 'KULTNACHT' with Froschhaxn from 7:00 PM. Monday, May 25: Morning pint, Osserwinkler from the Bavarian Forest, 'Schmankerlabend' (delicacy evening), and finale with the Trachtenkapelle Ramspau.

Getting There
Ramspau is located in the market town of Regenstauf, easily accessible via the A93 (Regenstauf exit) north of Regensburg. The festival grounds are located 'Am Wehr' directly on the Regen river.

Pentecost in the Golddorf
The Regentalfest is one of the largest Volksfests in the region and takes place annually at Pentecost in Ramspau, a district of the market town Regenstauf in the district of Regensburg. The unique location 'Am Wehr' directly on the banks of the Regen river makes the festival an experience with a special flair. It is organized by the Spielvereinigung Ramspau e.V.
Program and Music
The festival opens on Friday with the parade of local clubs from the castle garden and the ceremonial beer tapping by the mayor. Over the four days, Alpine folk music, lively party bands, and the 'KULTNACHT' alternate. On Pentecost Sunday, the program includes a remembrance ceremony at the cemetery, a church service in St. Laurentius, and a morning pint with a breakfast and coffee buffet in the festival tent. The traditional finale is performed by the Trachtenkapelle Ramspau.
