Allerweltskirchweih in the Oberpfalz
The market town of Regenstauf, north of Regensburg, upholds one of its most traditional market dates with the Kirchweihmarkt. It dates back to an old custom: at the end of October, it was formerly the last chance for the rural population to buy a new coat before All Saints' Day. This need gave rise to the Kirchweihmarkt during the Allerweltskirchweih.
