Ray Wilson and Genesis

Ray Wilson, a Scottish singer, became the last frontman of Genesis in 1997, succeeding Phil Collins – and sang on the album "Calling All Stations", the fourth best-selling in the band's history. After the dissolution of the original Genesis lineup, Wilson remained committed to performing Genesis material for his audience: with his solo project "Genesis Classic", he has been touring European open-air and indoor venues for years, combining Genesis classics with his own solo tracks.

The Programme

The setlist combines the greatest hits from Genesis's history – from the progressive pieces of the Peter Gabriel era as well as the later Phil Collins phase – with Wilson's own solo tracks and material from "Calling All Stations". Fresh arrangements meet the original soundscape of the songs; Wilson's unmistakable voice carries the show.

Freiluftkino Friedrichshagen

The Freiluftkino Friedrichshagen – also known as Naturtheater Friedrichshagen – is located directly on the Großer Müggelsee, on Müggelseedamm in the Friedrichshagen district (Treptow-Köpenick). It is one of Berlin's most beautiful open-air stages: amphitheatre-style, surrounded by forest, with a view of the Müggelsee. In summer, film nights and concerts are held here under the open sky. For the 2026 Genesis Classic tour, Friedrichshagen is an important stop in Berlin.

Friedrichshagen and the Müggelsee

Friedrichshagen is a historic district of Treptow-Köpenick – founded around 1750 as a settlement for colonists, later a summer resort for Berliners. The Bölschestraße, the central main street, leads directly to the Müggelsee, Berlin's largest lake, and with its cafés, galleries, and small shops, it has remained one of Berlin's most attractive suburban boulevards. Visitors attending the concert can extend their day in Friedrichshagen.
