Polish Multi-Stage Music Festival at Turbinenhalle Oberhausen on May 24, 2026 — 4 Stages (Disco Polo, Pop, Beach, Techno), Skolim, Smolasty, Cleo, Weekend, Kubańczyk
The Polonia Summer Festival is Germany's largest Polish music festival — Germany's over two million Polish citizens (Polonia) meet here to celebrate Polish music and culture. On Sunday, May 24, 2026, the next edition takes place at the iconic Turbinenhalle Oberhausen. Four stages, one day, international lineup — the festival runs in all weather, thanks to the combination of indoor and open-air stages.
The main stage in the outdoor area of the Turbinenhalle. Disco Polo is Poland's most popular genre hybrid — a mix of Eurodance, Schlager, and Folk-Pop, with immense mass appeal in Poland. Headliner stage with top acts Skolim, Smolasty, Cleo, and Weekend.
Indoor stage with Polish pop and crossover. Artists include Kubańczyk, Defis, D-Bomb. Protected from the weather, classic concert atmosphere.
Beach concept stage in the outdoor area — sand, loungers, cocktails, summer vibes. Programmed with DJ sets and acoustic acts.
Indoor club floor with Polish techno DJs — the electronic side of the Polish music scene with reduced lighting and deep bass frequencies.
One of the biggest Polish Disco Polo voices of today — millions of hits in Poland, regularly in the charts.
Polish rapper with crossover pop success.
Polish singer, known for her 2014 Eurovision appearance with "My Słowianie" — one of the most internationally recognized Polish pop voices.
Disco Polo classic with a long-standing career.
Other big names in the Polish music scene — all internationally popular within the German-Polish community.
At the food stalls, you'll find Polish specialties: Zapiekanki (the Polish sandwich), Bigos (sauerkraut stew with various meats), Kiełbasa (Polish sausage), Kaszanka (black pudding variant) — pure Polish peasant cuisine, perfect for the festival.
Large kids' area with bouncy castles, carousels, slides, face painting. Family-friendliness is a core festival element — a Polish family tradition.
The outdoor areas are designed as beer gardens with long beer bench rows — international beer selection with Polish classics like Żywiec, Tyskie, Lech, and Okocim.
Oberhausen in the Ruhr area (NRW) has a significant Polish community — historically due to mine migration in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, and more recently through the EU expansion in 2004. The Turbinenhalle, a former industrial building and now one of the Ruhr area's largest venues, is perfectly suited for multi-stage festivals — with gigantic indoor spaces and a large outdoor area directly at Lipperfeld. It also hosts the Blacklist Festival and other major events.
Germany's largest Polish music festival — four stages, international Polish acts, Polish cuisine, and family area. In all weather (indoor + outdoor).

Learn a few Polish words beforehand — "dzień dobry" (Good day), "dziękuję" (Thank you), "pysznie" (delicious). The Polish community appreciates interest. Try beer from a Polish brewery (Tyskie, Żywiec) — much better than the standard German Pils in the beer garden. The festival takes place even in the rain (indoor stages offer shelter).
