Drum & Bass, Dubstep and Hybrid Bass Music in the Turbinenhalle — A.M.C., Eptic, Blanke and more on October 9th and 10th, 2026
The Blacklist Festival has been Germany's most important indoor festival for Drum & Bass, Dubstep, Tearout, and Hybrid Bass Music for years. The next edition will take place on October 9th and 10th, 2026, in the Turbinenhalle Oberhausen — under the programmatic motto "A New Dawn", marking a fresh chapter for the bass music event. Two days, approx. 8,000 visitors, multiple floors.
The British DJ and producer A.M.C. is among the international elite of Drum & Bass — known for his technically perfect mixing style with complex doubledrops and tearout selections. Co-founder of Titan Records, regularly featured in the UK D&B charts.
Belgian producer Eptic is one of the defining voices of modern Dubstep — tracks like "Like A Boss" and "The End" are staples in the riddim and heavy dubstep spectrum. Live, he is known for high energy and aggressive drops.
The first wave of lineup announcements includes:
The 2026 programming deliberately focuses on a mix of international top acts and emerging artists. Genres include Drum & Bass, Dubstep, and Hybrid Live Performances. The motto "A New Dawn" reflects the inclusion of new sub-genre trends (Tearout, Color Bass, Hybrid Trap) while remaining true to the festival's Drum & Bass roots.
The Turbinenhalle Oberhausen, with its high industrial ceiling and bass-friendly acoustics, is the ideal location: the main stage for headliner sets, and several side floors for specialized sub-genres. Steel beams and brick walls create a unique hall atmosphere, enhanced by lighting design and strobes.
The Ruhr area boasts an active Drum & Bass and Dubstep scene — from Cologne to Düsseldorf to Dortmund, fans regularly meet in clubs like Bootshaus (Cologne). The Blacklist Festival is one of the few pure bass music festivals in the region, attracting visitors from all over Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, and the UK.
