The Prüm Horse Market
Since 1990, Reitverein Prümer Land e.V. has hosted a horse market twice a year, on the first Saturday in April and the first Saturday in October. In regular years, around 200 horses of all breeds are showcased and traded, accompanied by an equestrian program with demonstrations, a second-hand market for riding apparel and tack, and a small animal and poultry market. The club reports that the event typically attracts several thousand visitors.
