Wine enjoyment and Swabian club life in the Zabergäu
On July 25, 2026, the last Saturday in July, Pfaffenhofen in Württemberg's Zabergäu region (Heilbronn district) will once again open its 14th Wine and Beer Garden on the Kelterplatz in front of the Lambertuskirche. The organizers are the Pfaffenhofen Sports Committee and FC Tegernbach (BPP Bürger Pro Pfaffenhofen) – the proceeds will go back into club activities. It starts at 6 p.m.
The centerpiece of the festival is the wine selection: Various growing regions of Württemberg viticulture are represented – Heilbronner Land, Württembergisches Unterland, Zabergäu, Stromberg-Heuchelberg. Trollinger, Lemberger, Schwarzriesling, and Riesling are the focus. Accompanying this are "Steckerlfisch" from a wood fire, bratwurst and steak rolls, as well as vegetarian specialties – a balanced mix of tradition and modern tastes.
The Pfaffenhofen Town Band provides the musical backdrop – traditional brass music, Schlager hits, and entertainment pieces from the music club's repertoire. The combination of wine, culinary offerings, and Swabian brass music makes the Wine and Beer Garden a typical event of Pfaffenhofen's club life.
Pfaffenhofen is located in the Heilbronn district in the Zabergäu – one of Württemberg's most traditional wine-growing regions. The municipality, with around 2,400 inhabitants and its 14th-century Lambertuskirche, is surrounded by vineyards. The Sports Committee and FC Tegernbach shape the club life and regularly organize events that make the village a meeting point for the region.
If the weather is bad on July 25, 2026, the Wine and Beer Garden will be postponed to August 1, 2026. The decision will be announced at short notice on the website pfaffenhofen-wuertt.de and via local communication channels.
