Mansfelder Land and Mansfelder See

Röblingen am See belongs to the unified municipality Seegebiet Mansfelder Land in the Mansfeld-Südharz district (AGS 15087) — a region that drew its history from mining (copper shale mining in the Mansfelder Revier) and reinvented itself after the end of the GDR mining era. Today, the former open-cast mine pits have been flooded to form lakes, and the Mansfelder Seenland has become a local recreation area between Halle (Saale) and Eisleben.

Classic Home Festival Programme

The Parkfest is a club festival with a folk festival (Volksfest) character. Friday starts with "Seegebiet Tanzt" — DJ night in the park, often with several DJs from the region. On Saturday at 2 p.m., the traditional cannon shot marks the opening, followed by the club competitions between the districts of the greater municipality (sack race, tug-of-war, beer mug lifting — typical home festival programme). In the evening, DJ Stephano "Best of 80s" plays, and from 8:30 p.m., the band Joe Eimer und die Skrupellosen takes the stage — a proven cover band from the region that has played at many festivals in Saxony-Anhalt. Sunday concludes the festival with a morning pint (Frühschoppen) and family events.

Anyone visiting the Parkfest experiences a piece of genuine local culture from the state of Saxony-Anhalt. No sponsor show, no large-scale event — but clubs, families, bratwurst, beer from a regional brewery. Especially worthwhile in combination with a walk or a bike tour around the Süßer See or the Salziger See.
