The 10th edition in 2026 runs for four days:

• Friday, May 15, 2026: 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Saturday, May 16, 2026: 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM — Fireworks in the evening

Stadtpark Remscheid — The Festival Scenery

The venue is the Stadtpark Remscheid around the Hotel Kromberg — a spacious park area in the center of Remscheid. The Stadtpark offers the ideal street food festival atmosphere: lawns for picnic blankets, trees for shade, hotel terrace as support infrastructure. Picnic blankets and seat cushions are explicitly welcome — the festival atmosphere should be lounge-like, not stiff. Those who bring their own blanket will find their spot on the grass.

Free Admission — Proven Model

Like all previous editions, admission in 2026 is free. The festival is financed entirely by gastronomy — exhibitors pay stall fees, visitors spend money at the stalls. This low-threshold strategy is one of the festival's success factors: no entry barrier, free choice of which stalls to visit, families can also come with a small budget and afford their favorite specialties.
