Annual Festival of the Municipality of Ottobrunn
The Ottostraßenfest has been very popular with citizens, traders, and visitors for over 35 years. It is the central annual festival of the municipality of Ottobrunn in the district of Munich and transforms Ottostraße into a colorful festival mile on a Saturday in September.
Festive Kick-off
Traditionally, the mayor opens the festival at 11 am on the stage at the corner of Ottostraße/Schützenstraße. The Blaskapelle Harmonie and performances by the Sängerkreis Ottobrunn provide the musical accompaniment. Until 6 pm, a varied program lines the street.
Family Festival with Children's Program
The Ottostraßenfest is explicitly a family festival. For children aged four to fourteen, there is an extensive program with hands-on activities where children can collect stamps in a children's fun pass. At the same time, the Ottobrunn fire department opens its doors for an open day.
Clubs, Businesses, and Community
Clubs, local businesses, and initiatives present themselves at stalls along Ottostraße. Brass music and various bands provide entertainment, and gastronomy caters to culinary delights. The festival is thus a unifying event that strengthens Ottobrunn's identity as a vibrant community in the south of Munich.

The Ottostraßenfest 2026 will be celebrated on Saturday, September 12, from 11 am to 6 pm along Ottostraße. The mayor will open the festival at 11 am on the stage at the corner of Ottostraße/Schützenstraße, accompanied by the Blaskapelle Harmonie and the Sängerkreis Ottobrunn. Clubs and businesses will present themselves at stalls, and for children aged four to fourteen, there will be hands-on activities with a fun pass. Getting There
Ottobrunn is located in the district of Munich, southeast of the state capital. Arrive by S-Bahn (S7) to Ottobrunn, then walk to Ottostraße. By car via the B 471 / A 8. Ottostraße is closed during the festival.

Admission to the Ottostraßenfest is free. Costs are incurred for food, drinks, and individual activities.
