The Haus der Jugend Osnabrück is a traditional city venue that bundles youth, cultural, and educational offerings under one roof. With OSNA-Buch, the venue has developed its own book fair, which has grown steadily since its first edition and will take place for the sixth time in 2026.

Authors, Readings, Discussions

Authors are at the heart of the book fair. They present their books at stands, read from their works, and use the opportunity for direct conversation with the audience. Self-published authors are represented as well as those published by traditional houses, regional voices as well as nationally recognized ones.

Diverse Genres

OSNA-Buch is characterized by a wide range of genres: fiction, crime and thrillers, historical novels, fantasy and science fiction, non-fiction, poetry, children's and young adult books, regional literature, and comics all find their place. This diversity makes the fair a journey of discovery for readers of all kinds.

Workshops and Children's Program

The book fair is accompanied by writing workshops, workshops on topics such as self-publishing, book design, or translation. A dedicated children's program with readings, craft activities, and interactive events is aimed at young visitors.
