With the Open-Air Cinema Bad Neustadt, the town of Bad Neustadt a.d. Saale sets a cultural accent at the end of the summer holidays. On three evenings – Friday, Saturday, and Sunday – a film will be shown on a screen in the middle of the Lower Franconian spa town, often a mix of current hits and family classics. The open-air cinema is part of the 2026 Event Highlights program, which the town curates annually. Other summer highlights include the Marktplatzsommer (July 17–20), the Bad Neustadt Town Festival (July 30 – August 1), and the Family Festival on September 19.
