Ochsenfurter Ochsenfest

At the Ochsenfurter Ochsenfest 2026 on Saturday, September 12, Ochsenfurt clubs, businesses, and employers will present themselves at numerous action, information, and sales stands in the pedestrian zone of the main street.

The ox parade marches across the historic old Main bridge into the old town. On the main stage at the town hall, there is an all-day music and show program. The Ochsenfurt rowing club organizes a boat crossing from the Old to the New Pier.

Saturday, September 12, 2026 — Ochsenfurt Old Town

• from 8:00 a.m. — Flea market with colorful stalls in the old town
• 11:00 a.m. — Ox Parade across the historic old Main bridge into the old town
• at the town hall: culinary preparation of the town's mascot
• 12:15 p.m. — Performance by the school band of the Ochsenfurt Realschule (main stage town hall)
• 1:15 p.m. — Ochsenfurt town band
• 2:30 p.m. — Dance performance by the children's and youth group of TV Ochsenfurt
• all day: stage program of music and show acts on the main stage at the town hall
• Boat crossing from the Old to the New Pier with boats from the Ochsenfurt fire department, water rescue, and DLRG, organized by the Ochsenfurt rowing club
• Children's program with numerous activities and games
• Action, information, and sales stands from Ochsenfurt clubs, businesses, and employers

Getting There

Ochsenfurt is located on the B13 south of Würzburg and can be reached via Ochsenfurt station (Würzburg–Treuchtlingen line). The old town is traffic-calmed during the festival; parking is available on the outskirts of the city center.

Admission to the city festival is free. Food and market offerings on site.
