Vintage Cars at the North Sea Harbor

In just four years, the Nordstrand Oldtimer Meeting has become one of the most distinctive early summer events for vintage car fans in Nordfriesland. The mix of historic vehicles, fresh sea breeze, and the Nordfriesland landscape makes Süderhafen Nordstrand a special backdrop — where crabbers and sports boats usually dock, vehicles from several decades of automotive history will be parked this Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

2026 Program

• 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM — Vehicle exhibition at Süderhafen
• 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM — Live music with the duo MaCH2 (Mike and Charlie), songs from the 1960s and 1970s: Everly Brothers, Simon & Garfunkel, Beatles, Rolling Stones, ABBA, and classics of that era
• On-site catering — Bratwurst, rolls, cake, coffee, non-alcoholic drinks
• Cozy get-together and expert discussions between owners and visitors

Participation

Classics and youngtimers are welcome — no registration is required. Vehicles will be directed to parking areas on site. Anyone who simply wants to look, take photos, or chat with owners is also warmly invited. Free admission for visitors and participants.

Nordstrand and the Nordfriesland District

The peninsula of Nordstrand is located in the Nordfriesland district, in the state of Schleswig-Holstein, directly west of Husum at the entrance to the Wadden Sea. Historically, Nordstrand was formed from several islands split off by storm surges and is now connected to the mainland by a causeway. With its vast meadows, thatched-roof houses, and small fishing and sports harbors, Nordstrand characterizes the North Frisian landscape — at Süderhafen, a colorful vintage car show will gather on this summer day in precisely this setting.
