International CCN/ADAC Vintage Car Rally through the districts of Stade and Harburg
The Niederelbe Classics is one of Northern Germany's established vintage car rallies. It annually gathers around 100 to 150 historic and classic vehicles from the CCN and ADAC network. The participant classes range from pre-war models (before 1939) and post-war classics from the 1950s and 1960s to youngtimers from the 1970s and 1980s. Brands such as Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Porsche, Jaguar, Austin Healey, Citroën, Alfa Romeo, and VW characterize the field of participants.
The rally starts in Jork, the central town of the Altes Land region. From there, the route leads through the Altes Land with its orchards and half-timbered houses, through the surroundings of Buxtehude, past the forests and heathlands of the Harburg district, and along the Lower Elbe. The diversity of landscapes makes the rally particularly attractive – for both participants and spectators.
The rally is organized in cooperation with CCN (Classic Car Norden) and ADAC. Both organizations contribute their expertise in organizing classic automotive events and ensure professional route planning, safety, and scoring. The rally follows FIVA regulations for historic vehicles.
The route passes through numerous town centers and past sights – a deliberate concept that makes the vintage car procession a cultural event. Recommended spectator points are communicated by the organizer via the website. Especially in Jork (start) and at the stage stops, the vehicles can be viewed at leisure.
Jork's market square will be the scene of the rally start on Saturday morning. The vehicles will gather before the start and can be admired by spectators at leisure. The rally begins with the starting grid.
The route leads through the Altes Land region, the surroundings of Buxtehude, and the fringe of the Lüneburg Heath in the Harburg district. The diversity of landscapes makes the rally particularly attractive.
The exact route and start times will be published by the organizer in the summer of 2026. The proven key points:
