Neuenstadt am Kocher is a small town in the Heilbronn district with just under 8,000 inhabitants, located at the transition between the lower Kocher valley and the Hohenlohe plain. During Advent, the historic town center shows its most beautiful face: On December 5th and 6th, 2026, the Neuenstadt Christmas Market will take place on the market square and main street, organized by the "Wir für Neuenstadt" city marketing association.

The market opens on Saturday, December 5th, 2026, from 4:00 PM — combined with the Extended Shopping Night, during which the town's shops remain open until 10:00 PM. On Sunday, December 6th, 2026, the market opens from 12:00 PM — the classic Advent Sunday format with lunch and afternoon activities in the market bustle.
