Music in the Baroque Castle
The Bavarian Music Academy Schloss Alteglofsheim is one of Germany's federal and state music academies and is based in the magnificent baroque Schloss Alteglofsheim in the district of Regensburg (Upper Palatinate, Bavaria). The in-house concert series uses the historic Kaisersaal as an exceptional venue.
Spring 2026 Program
The spring 2026 program offers a diverse chamber music and piano program:
- May 17, 2026: "From Shadows to Light" – Pianist Mimoza Kjeka with works by Franz Liszt (incl. Ballade No. 2 and Sonata in B minor), with spoken introductions (admission €17)
- June 2, 2026: World music evening with Frank Heinkel and Yani Ait-Aoudia – West African harp, didgeridoo, etc. (free admission)
- June 21, 2026: Shoko Kawasaki with etudes by Scarlatti, Chopin, and Ligeti from her album "Die Tastenkunst" (admission €17)
