Four open-air concerts in the Baroque palace garden — Johannes Oerding, ZAZ, Amy Macdonald, Sarah Connor
The "Musik im Park" concert series in Bruchsal Palace Garden has been one of Southern Germany's most renowned open-air concert venues for years. The setting — the baroque palace garden behind Bruchsal Palace, built between 1722–1732 (summer residence of the Prince-Bishops of Speyer) — lends the concerts a unique atmosphere. In 2026, organiser Provinztour GmbH invites you to four top-class concert evenings from 21 to 26 August. Previous headliners included PUR, Alvaro Soler, Rea Garvey — the series consistently combines major German and international artists with the intimate park setting.
Bruchsal Palace is one of the most significant baroque palaces in Southern Germany. Built between 1722–1732 as the summer residence of the Prince-Bishops of Speyer, featuring the famous staircase designed by Balthasar Neumann, it was heavily damaged in 1945 and meticulously rebuilt in its original splendour over the following decades. The adjoining Palace Garden, with its geometric flowerbeds, avenues, and water features, is one of the most beautiful baroque garden designs in Baden-Württemberg — and the venue for the "Musik im Park" concerts during the summer weeks.
Bruchsal (Karlsruhe district, postcode 08215, approx. 47,000 inhabitants) is located between Karlsruhe and Heidelberg, on the eastern edge of the Upper Rhine Plain and at the transition to the Kraichgau region. The city is a transport hub (A 5 motorway, Bruchsal station with long-distance trains) and a cultural centre for the region. From Bruchsal station, it's about a 15-minute walk to the palace; or take city bus line 1 for three stops.
During the setup and dismantling of the concert stage — from 19 to 26 August 2026 — the palace garden will be closed to the public. Visiting the palace garden without a ticket will not be possible during this time. Access to the palace interior remains open (separate tickets required).
From 21 to 26 August 2026, Bruchsal Palace Garden will become an open-air concert stage. Four headlining acts will perform: Johannes Oerding, ZAZ, Amy Macdonald, and Sarah Connor. The unique setting — the baroque palace garden behind Bruchsal Palace, designed by Balthasar Neumann — makes the concerts a special summer experience.
With the 2026 edition, organiser Provinztour GmbH once again confirms the series' appeal and solidifies Bruchsal's position as a regular fixture on the Southern German summer concert calendar.
