The town of Moringen consists of several districts, each with its own identity and community life. The Moringen Summer Concerts honor this decentralized structure by holding concerts not in the main town, but in the districts. Three dates in the summer of 2026 will take place in three different locations — a series that promotes musical and social life in the villages.

Three Dates, Three Districts

The series kicks off on July 5th, 2026, in the district of Blankenhagen. Thüdinghausen follows on August 8th, and the series concludes on August 23rd in the district of Oldenrode. Each date has its own character and local roots. Those who attend all three concerts will get to know the diversity of Moringen's districts in a special way.

Program and Atmosphere

The concerts are designed as open-air events and take place in atmospheric locations within the villages — often in central squares, garden areas, or in front of historic buildings. The musical program is curated individually for each event and typically ranges from regional bands and solo artists to folk and jazz ensembles.
