The End of the Summer Festival Season

Following the large St. Anna Kirmes (funfair) in July and the Morbach Summer of Music spread throughout the summer, the Morbacher Herbst marks the quieter conclusion of the festival season in the unified municipality. Unlike the major summer events, the Morbacher Herbst is a one-day, compact event that combines music, song, and dance in the town center.

Music, Song, and Dance

The program focuses on musical performances of various genres: choirs, dance groups, regional bands, and singers from the region perform on a central stage. Alternating with the performances are participatory activities, open stage sessions, and social dancing opportunities.

Culinary Delights and Stalls

The program is accompanied by food stalls offering regional dishes, bratwurst, potato pancakes, cheese platters, Federweißer (depending on the grape harvest progress), apple wine, and hot drinks for the cooler autumn hours.

One-Day Autumn Town Festival

With its one-day format, the Morbacher Herbst is clearly distinct from the region's major multi-day events. It serves as a convivial closing of the festival season and a meeting point for the residents of the expansive unified municipality.
