We Bring Music to the City
The Memminger Stadtfest has been a firm fixture in the summer of the Swabian imperial city since 1975. Under the guiding principle "We Bring Music to the City," it combines a diverse program from pulsating rave to jazzy breakfast, turning the Memmingen city center into a stage. Admission is free, and the festival is organized by Stadtmarketing Memmingen e.V. together with the city and other partners.
51st Edition 2026
The 51st edition is scheduled for 2026. The main festival day begins at 10 a.m. in the Marktplatz (market square) with the ceremonial tapping of the first keg, brass music, and an entertaining program; according to the organizers, there is no rain date (in case of bad weather, it will be moved to the Stadionhalle). The proven three-part concept of previous years — Park & Rave in the Krautstraße car park, the traditional city festival day in the market square, and a jazzy Sunday format — also characterizes the current edition.

Memminger Stadtfest — edition 2026
The 51st edition of the Memminger Stadtfest will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2026, starting at 10 a.m. in the market square. The organizer is Stadtmarketing Memmingen e.V. together with the city. According to the organizers, there is no rain date; in case of bad weather, it will be moved to the Stadionhalle.
The specific band program for 2026 will be announced by Stadtmarketing closer to the date. The three-part concept is proven: Park & Rave with electronic music in the Krautstraße car park, the traditional city festival day in the market square with ceremonial keg tapping and brass music, and a jazzy Sunday format with Frühschoppen (morning pint).
