Four open-air concerts on the Schlossplatz by Lake Constance
Meersburg is located on the northern shore of Lake Constance in the Bodenseekreis district — one of the few German towns with a completely preserved medieval castle (Alte Burg Meersburg, 7th century) and a baroque New Castle (18th century). The Schlossplatz is situated between the two buildings, overlooking Lake Constance towards Switzerland and the Bavarian Alps. A spectacular open-air backdrop that has been used for concerts for years.
The 2026 festival offers four selected concert evenings, each with its own character:
Culcha Candela is the Berlin-based reggae-pop band that combines reggae, dancehall, hip-hop, and Latin American sounds into a distinctive mix. Tickets: EUR 59.90.
The Herbert Pixner Projekt from the South Tyrolean Alps blends alpine folk music with jazz, classical, and pop. Instrumentation: Pixner on the Styrian harmonica, bass, piano, harp, and guitar. First seated concert on the Schlossplatz in years — a concert for attentive listening. Tickets from EUR 72.50.
Clueso, the singer-songwriter from Erfurt, brings his Deja-Vu Tour to Meersburg — with "fresh arrangements and new songs alongside established hits." An emotional, acoustically driven stage show on the shores of Lake Constance. Tickets: EUR 74.75.
Festival finale with folk-rock: Versengold from Bremen and Special Guest Fiddler's Green. Medieval rock and Celtic-influenced folk meet. Tickets: EUR 59.95.
The Meersburg Schlossplatz is one of the most beautiful open-air concert backdrops in Southern Germany: sunset over Lake Constance during the concert, medieval castle walls as a backdrop, the lake just a few steps away, and the Swiss mountain panorama visible on clear days. For those seeking an extraordinary concert evening in the Lake Constance region during the summer — Meersburg is a first-class destination.
