Advent Market in Wallmerod

Over the years, the Wallmerod Christmas Market has become a firm fixture in the Advent event calendar in the northern Westerwald. In the anniversary year 2026, it will be part of the extensive festival calendar with which the municipality of Wallmerod celebrates the 750th anniversary of the market town. The market will provide a contemplative conclusion on December 5, 2026, to a year full of events, from the spring festival, anniversary fair, and open-air events to the Westerwald Oktoberfest.

Stalls, Crafts, and Catering

Clubs, local businesses, and hobby artists will present their stalls around the town center. The offerings include Advent decorations, candles, woodwork, ceramics, knitwear, handicrafts, and small gift ideas for the Christmas season. Mulled wine, punch, bratwurst, potato pancakes, crêpes, candied almonds, and winter pastries will provide refreshments and warmth.
